About Us

Nick earned a PhD in biochemistry from UT Southwestern, then spent over eight years working at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France. When the opportunity arose to get into the new cannabis industry, he took the leap and didn't look back. Since then he has worked for a multi-state brand launching products in multiple jurisdictions, directed a production facility producing multiple finished good SKUs, launched new products for existing brands, and worked on capacity expansion and new facility build-outs in cannabis and hemp. Nick loves a challenge and believes anything is possible when the right team is assembled toward a meaningful goal.

Mat began his career in cannabis as an enthusiast, feeding his hunger for knowledge wherever he could. With the arrival of the legal market, he went pro intitially on the cultivation side back in the medical days. Given the opportunity to apply his experience in concentrates to the adult-use market, he moved over to the production side for a couple of years before designing and then running a production facility for a multi-state operator. His subject knowledge and experience combined with a hard-earned understanding of how the business of cannabis is most successful sets Mat apart from many in the industry.
